Rowenia Bender (M.Sc.)

Rowenia Bender is a research associate at the ZKFS and a doctoral candidate in social psychology at Chemnitz University of Technology. Her research focuses on social attitudes towards bias-motivated crime, the role of ideologies and social norms in the development of such attitudes and intergroup contact with the police, justice system and offenders.

Rowenia Bender studied psychology in Jena and Chemnitz. She has been an honorary member of the Social Psychology Network on Flight and Integration since 2021 and part of the organizational team of the German Political Psychology Network since 2024.
