The Center for Criminological Research Saxony e.V. (ZKFS) is a unique criminological research institution in Saxony, which closes an important research gap.
The team
Our team of research assistants and research assistants works in a scientifically sound manner to close criminological research gaps. In addition to criminological research, good vibes and team spirit are important to us.
The association
The Center for Criminological Research Saxony e.V. was founded on 25.01.2021 and is a non-profit registered association based in Chemnitz (register number, VAT ID).
The tasks of the association are to carry out criminological research, to communicate the research results to a specialist audience as well as in generally understandable formats to an interested public and to participate in academic training and professional development.
The board of the ZKFS consists of Prof. Dr. Frank Asbrock (Director) and M.Sc. Jennifer Führer (Deputy Director).

General Meeting
The General Meeting passes resolutions on the admission and exclusion of members, amendments to the Articles of Association, dissolution of the association and elections of the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees oversees the tasks of the ZKFS Board of Directors and appoints the members of the Scientific Advisory Board.

The Scientific Advisory Board advises the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees on scientific and programmatic issues.
